In Bed with the Competition by J.K. Coi

In Bed with the Competition (Entangled Indulgence) - J.K. Coi

This one got off to a bit of a slow start for me. The first half was full of both Elizabeth and Ben doubting themselves and their feelings and trying to justify what they felt as something they needed to get our of their systerm - an island fling. Deep down they both know it's more, they were just incredible stubborn and refused to admit it. There were a handful of very memorable scenes in the first half. Their snorkeling expedition and "hanging out" in the boat afterwards were very fun and exciting to read.

They both have business partners with them that seem intent to ruin their personal lives - not intentionally, just by being stupid people. Once the convention they are attending actually gets started things begin to get really interesting. There is a scheme running the the background that I caught onto right away - I think you're supposed to - and it really made we feel bad for Elizabeth. I wanted to tell her to wake up and smell the coffee, but I totally got why she refused to.

The romance itself doesn't seem like it's going to end well. Now, don't worry there is a HEA, but not until after several misses and brush offs. It was just a tad too much for me.
