The Enchanted April by Elizabeth von Arnim

The Enchanted April - Elizabeth von Arnim

This was a very interesting book. It's a book about finding that one place that is just so special, that everything seems to get better just by being there. And taking that specialness of that place and making it a part of who you are, so that you can live and be better long after leaving. It was one of those books that's just a story - about four women and their trip to Italy. But by the end of the book, you realize that it was about so much more than just that.

The descriptions of the flowers and the scenery just blew me away completely. I swear that I could smell the sometimes. I love how all four lives were changed, the author doesn't leave anyone out. You just have to wait for the magic to settle in a bit longer on some of them.
